This sums up John Peel to me... #keepingitpeel

Being a keen Liverpool fan(atic) he was known on the odd occasion to use football as an analogy for music and the one time I remember was when he spoke about not looking back too fondly at past seasons as it was the next one that excited him and kept him interested. He put it rather better than that.

Now I'm no friend to the pirates but I've been trying to buy the original of this track since this appearence reminded me of it and thus far I haven't been able to. It doesn't encourage those of us trying to keep to the straight and narrow.

Hiding & Finding - an ancient clip from radio - "now toss your balls in the air and play with them"

One last dip into the vaults. A perfectly innocent recording from an old BBC childrens radio program.

Let us take a moment to remember those brave men and women of the BBC cricket commentary team

Peter Trego hits a six off Robert Croft in Somerset's win over Glamorgan at Tauton on 2nd May 2011 hitting Edward Bevan in the commentary box.

But was it an accident? Edward Bevan had been the targeted on several previous occasions. For example Glamorgan versus Gloucestershire at Cardiff in 2006.

Is it purely coincidence that it occurred after recent match fixing allegations? Yes of course it is.
