Being a keen Liverpool fan(atic) he was known on the odd occasion to use football as an analogy for music and the one time I remember was when he spoke about not looking back too fondly at past seasons as it was the next one that excited him and kept him interested. He put it rather better than that.

Another from the vinyl collection, this time All Right & Dr Dupree from the live mini-album Watch Out of 1985. I particularly like this version of Dr Dupree which doesn't appear to be available to buy new today (though I haven't been through all the available compilations).
For some unknown reason B.A's back catalogue, including today's selection from 'Initial Success' isn't available other than the odd track on dodgy compilations.

A bit of social comment that led to the singer being threatened.
This was a band I started and left before this track because I thought my songs were crap. And indeed they did improve without me.
